- Project Based Learning – Students use knowledge to complete “real life scenarios." It allows students to gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to a complex question, problem, or challenge.
- Dual Enrollment – Students have the opportunity to enroll in a college level business course taught at the community college campus
- Summer Internship – Students are required to intern in the business or finance field the summer before their senior year. Most of these opportunities are paid and offer a variety of opportunities.
- Career Learning Experiences – Opportunities provided for students to establish personal contacts with people and organizations in the financial services and business industry. Examples: Job Shadowing; New York City Financial District Tour; Corporate Headquarters
- National Recognition – The academy of finance is one of several model programs established to promote educational excellence by the National Academy Foundation. This partnership links education and the community.
